Kellie Martin (born Kellie Marien) is a famous American actress. She's appeared in many films and TV shows like "Christy" which is a drama about a young woman called Christy Huddleston. Additionally, she's well-known for her role as the lead on The Hailey Dean Mystery. Martin was born to an employee of a department store and an elementary school teacher. She began acting at seven years old when her aunt, who was an nanny for Michael Landon's family, offered to help Martin find a role as a guest star on the television show Father Murphy. Martin began her professional acting career when she graduated from Yale University. This led to her landing a variety of roles both in the television and film industries. Martin, who is an actor as well as an accomplished photographer and dancer has been working in the field for over twenty years. Mother of two daughters and a son, she is also the Lupus ambassador and has been spreading awareness of the disease daily since the loss of her sister, who was age 19.
